LaRubia Consulting is a fast-growing marketing agency that helps businesses enhance their online presence and drive growth through social media and digital marketing. We are looking for a Social Media Management Intern to assist in planning, scheduling, and optimizing social media content.


Position Overview:

The Social Media Management Intern will be responsible for managing the social media content calendar, scheduling posts at high-traffic times, ensuring all content is relevant, approved, and aligned with the latest trends, and maintaining a clean, aesthetically pleasing social media presence. This is an exciting opportunity to learn about social media management, content strategy, and SEO optimization in a dynamic and creative environment.


Key Responsibilities:


Content Calendar Management:

  • Create and maintain a detailed content calendar to organize and schedule social media posts across various platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.).

  • Ensure that all content is scheduled to post during peak interaction times to maximize engagement.

  • Regularly update the calendar to reflect approved content and any changes in strategy.


Post Scheduling:

  • Schedule content using social media management tools to ensure it goes live at optimal times.

  • Monitor the success of posts and adjust the posting schedule to improve performance and reach.

  • Coordinate with the content creation team to ensure all posts are ready and approved for publishing.


Trending Content & Audio:

- Stay up-to-date with trending audio, hashtags, and content formats on each platform.

- Ensure that all scheduled posts include trending audio and are aligned with the latest trends to maximize visibility.

- Collaborate with the team to create content that resonates with target audiences and stays relevant.


Aesthetic Management:

- Ensure the overall look and feel of social media pages are consistent, clean, and aesthetically pleasing.

- Pay close attention to layout, color schemes, fonts, and the arrangement of posts to maintain an attractive and professional feed.

- Align social media aesthetics with the brand's visual identity and marketing goals.


Captions, Hashtags & SEO Optimization:

- Write engaging and SEO-optimized captions and hashtags for each post.

- Ensure captions are relevant, clear, and align with brand messaging while maximizing visibility.

- Conduct keyword research to find trending hashtags and SEO keywords to improve content discoverability.


Blog Editing & Management:

  • Edit and optimize blogs for SEO and engagement, ensuring that they align with social media content.

  • Work closely with the blog team to ensure all content is published on time and is consistent across platforms.

  • Manage social media comments/inbox costumer interactions



Content Review & Approval:

- Work closely with the creative and management teams to get content approved before scheduling.

- Ensure all content meets brand standards, is error-free, and aligns with the social media strategy.


Technical Skills & Tools:

- Use tools like CapCut, Canva, and Photoshop as needed to edit and enhance visuals and videos for social media posts.

- Leverage Google Workspace for collaboration, scheduling, and content management.

- Ensure all content is optimized for the specific requirements of each platform (e.g., size, format, aspect ratio).


Requirements:


Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, and LinkedIn.

- Experience with content scheduling tools and social media management platforms.

- Basic knowledge of CapCut, Canva, and Photoshop for editing content as needed.

- Strong understanding of Google Workspace for organization and collaboration.

- Familiarity with SEO best practices, including keyword research and hashtag optimization.


Creative & Aesthetic Skills:

- Ability to design and maintain a visually appealing and cohesive social media feed.

- Understanding of how to incorporate trending audio, visuals, and design elements into content.

- Eye for detail in reviewing and approving content for quality and consistency.


Organizational Skills:

- Strong organizational skills to manage and maintain an up-to-date content calendar.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred Qualifications:

- Prior experience in social media management, content scheduling, or SEO optimization is a plus.

- Knowledge of analytics tools to monitor and report on the performance of social media campaigns.
