Position Overview:
As a Data Analytics & Marketing Intern, you will play a key role in analyzing brand performance data and marketing campaigns. You’ll work closely with the marketing team to provide solutions on which content performs best, optimize ad campaigns, and track social media trends. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in data analytics, SEO, and digital marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand Analytics Review:
- Analyze performance data from various brand marketing efforts.
- Identify which content and ad campaigns perform well and provide actionable solutions to improve underperforming content.
Social Media Trends Analysis:
- Use Google and Meta tools to track which social media trends are gaining traction.
- Research trending hashtags and social media content ideas to keep campaigns relevant.
- Create weekly spreadsheets to track and organize trending content and hashtags for each social media platform.
SEO Optimization:
- Suggest SEO keywords and phrases that will drive traffic and engagement for the week.
- Research and analyze SEO trends to keep content optimized and competitive.
- Track SEO performance and recommend ways to improve search rankings for our clients.
Data Collection & Reporting:
- Collect data for each social media post and marketing campaign, compiling it into organized spreadsheets.
- Provide insights into which posts drive engagement and which areas need improvement.
- Use the data to help create future content strategies based on what performs best.
CRM Data Analysis:
- Analyze Customer Relationship Management (CRM) data to identify trends and opportunities for customer engagement.
- Suggest improvements to CRM practices based on data findings.
Problem-Solving:
- Research and present solutions to any data-related problems encountered.
- Work with the marketing team to implement data-backed strategies for optimizing performance across campaigns.
Requirements:
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with Google Analytics, Meta Analytics, and other marketing analytics tools.
- Knowledge of SEO principles and tools such as Google Trends.
- Experience with CRM platforms and data analysis.
- Strong skills in creating and managing spreadsheets (Google Sheets, Excel).
Analytical Skills:
- Strong ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations.
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
Communication & Collaboration:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting data findings.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with the team to improve content and campaigns.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience with digital marketing analytics or SEO is a plus.
- Familiarity with social media trends and platform algorithms.
